This area of the SCSC website hosts Goal Structuring Notation (GSN) standardisation information and related guidance.
It can be reached through scsc.uk/gsn or goalstructuringnotation.info.
The GSN information is created and maintained by the GSN Standard Working Group (GSN_SWG), a sub-group of the SCSC's Assurance Case Working Group (ACWG).
The principal objective of this site is to disseminate information and resources related to GSN.
The Goal Structuring Notation Standard Working Group (GSN_SWG) members include:
- experienced practitioners, who have used and continue to use GSN on major projects;
- academics and industry specialists, who have researched and developed the theory and principles behind the notation;
- tool vendors, who have supported the realisation of tool support for the notation;
- liaison with the organisation responsible for publication of the Structured Assurance Case Metamodel (SACM).
The GSN_SWG can be contacted through the Assurance Case Working Group
Comments or suggestions for the GSN standard can be made through the GSN community standard forum
