THE SAFETY-CRITICAL SYSTEMS CLUB, 1st Meeting:
Inaugural Meeting
Thursday 11 July, 1991 - UMIST, ManchesterThe Club's first meeting will perform a number of functions, as indicated in the preliminary programme below. Not only will it provide information about the club, its background and its aims, and offer an opportunity for delegates to influence the club's direction, but it will also begin to perform the Club's primary function: that of facilitating the dissemination and exchange of information important to researchers and users of safety-critical systems technology.
The club is sponsored by DTI and SERC, but its long-term success will depend on it becoming self-sufficient. Thus, while membership and receipt of mailed information is initially gratis, we must make a small charge for attendance at meetings. As, on this occasion, accomodation is provided by DTI (following the JFIT Conference), the charge for the inaugural meeting will be a nominal £25.00 - and this will include a three course lunch. Please register as early as possible using the form below.
