THE SAFETY-CRITICAL SYSTEMS CLUB, Course:
A DO-178C Training EventThursday 20 June, 2013 - The London Marriott Hotel Kensington, London, United Kingdom
After a major review the DO-178B/ED-12B safety standard – originating in aerospace but used more widely for guidance – is being replaced by a new version (DO-178C/ED-12C).
Do you want to learn how this change will impact your organisation?
Do you want to know about the updates in DO-278A/ED-109A?
Are you a tool vendor, developer or user who wants to find out how the new DO-330/ED-215 will affect you?
Do you use model-based design, object-oriented programming or formal methods? Would you like to know how the new supplements provide additional guidance for using these techniques?
This course will help you understand the changes and move from applying safety standard DO-178B/ED-12B to the new version: DO-178C/ED-12C. It will also cover the companion documents that deal with ground systems, software tool qualification, model-based development and verification, object-oriented technology, and formal methods.
Active members of the committee that prepared the new standard and associated documents will present the course.
Who should attend?
This one-day course is aimed at managers, Designated Engineering Representatives, Certification Verification Engineers, software development and verification engineers and software quality assurance staff who have experience of DO-178B/ED-12B or DO-278/ED-109 and are looking to understand the changes incorporated in the revised document set.
The course is offered in association with Aeronautique Associates.
