The second SCSC Technical Trip will be to The Royal Air Force Museum Midlands (Cosford) on 19th November 2022 NEW DATE. We will have a guided tour of the hangars and also some additional explanation from club members who worked on some of the aircraft!

The visit starts at 12:30. 

The museum location is: RAF Museum Midlands, Lysander Avenue, Cosford, Shropshire, TF11 8UP. There is a train station a short walk away.

We will take the 3-hour guided tour (includes a break). 
This tour takes in the National Cold War Exhibition, Test Flight and War in the Air collections. We will go through the hangars with highlights such as the three V Bombers, TSR 2 and the world’s oldest Spitfire. Brief historical information will be given on the aircraft including what makes the individual exhibits special.

Cost of the trip including the guided tour is £5 per person.

Parking for the day (payable separately on entry) is £5 per vehicle.
