Following the strong interest in our launch, I’m excited to invite you to the first meeting of the Safety Management & SMS Working Group, taking place:

We're delighted to welcome Group Captain Andy March as our keynote speaker. With deep experience in safety-critical operations, Andy will help set the tone for a group focused on practical support and real-world impact. Andy has been the Chief Engineer and Type Airworthiness Authority for the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight for over 3 years, with a vast underpinning background in many other safety and airworthiness roles.
This new working group—run under the Safety-Critical Systems Club (SCSC)—is designed to support Safety Managers and SMS practitioners across all high-risk sectors, including:

🏥 Healthcare (NHS)

🛢 Oil & Gas
✈️ Aviation and more.
Whether you're an experienced Safety Manager or simply passionate about improving how SMS is applied in your sector, this group aims to foster cross-industry learning, shared challenges, and practical solutions.
