Thank you to all who supported the Symposium this year, held 9th - 11th February 2021 as a virtual event - it all went very well.
The event attracted 200 delegates with a grand total of 16 live presentations and 12 pre-recorded talks. The recordings of all presentations and the papers from the published proceedings (http://scsc.uk/scsc-161) are now available for Club members to view on the Catch up page (http://scsc.uk/e683prog).
The SCSC is creating a new publication, "The Safety Critical Systems eJournal" for high-quality technical articles on any area of systems safety. This will be published twice a year via the SCSC website, with a compilation hardcopy available on Amazon annually.
The focus of the journal will be on safety practice, industrial applications and standards/guidance. The editor is John Spriggs (firstname.lastname@example.org), a long-time supporter of the club and respected author and presenter.
Please consider submitting an article on your work. Submission details to be announced soon. There will also be length guidelines and style guides issued shortly.
