Safety of Autonomy in Complex Environments

This 1-day in-person seminar will consider the safe use of autonomy in complex environments (for example a self-driving vehicle in a city environment), featuring speakers covering different sectors. Presentations include:

Celebrating Women in Systems Safety

The SCSC is producing a Newsletter article all about women in systems safety, covering both historic contributors and those active in the field today. If you know of anyone who ought to be included please contact wendy.owen@scsc.uk. The article will be published for INWED (International Women in Engineering Day) on June 23rd.

Working Groups 

NEW WORKING GROUP: The Safer Complex Systems Working Group (SCSWG), has been created to build on the work done by the IET in this area. The kick-off meeting is by Zoom on 29th March 2023. Please contact mike.parsons@scsc.uk if you would like to attend this meeting or join the group.

SSS’23: All the SCSC working groups presented excellent posters at SSS’23 and many WG leads did introduction videos. All of these are available on the event catchup page: https://scsc.uk/e898
