When considering the safety of software, the overall assurance achieved is ultimately determined by the evidence that is put forward. This report provides guidance on the selection of evidence to support a software safety argument, and the assessment and justification of the sufficiency of that evidence. The evidence put forward must be sufficient to support the claims of the safety case.
