Digital Twins are seen as a formative technology for the Internet of Things (IoT), central to future systems development. When Safety-Critical Systems fall in scope of Digital Twins, and it is clear they will, then proportionate assurance will be necessary. From work in support of his MSc thesis, Kevin King presents Principles to support the assurance of Digital Twins in their role in through-life safety assurance.
