As part of a Cranfield University MSc group research project, a short survey is being conducted to gather insights from the aviation community on the UK/EU regulatory readiness for Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) and VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing) operations.
The survey explores key themes critical to the successful integration of AAM, including:
✈️ Licensing & Certification – frameworks for operators, pilots, and aircraft
🤖 Autonomy & AI – opportunities and regulatory challenges
🎮 Training & Simulation – future skills and competency requirements
🌍 Harmonisation & Scalability – aligning UK and EU approaches for growth
Your feedback will help identify the regulatory gaps and priorities facing industry and policymakers. All responses are completely anonymous and will be analysed in aggregate for academic purposes only.
