COTS, Legacy and Reuse

This seminar will feature a set of talks on COTS* (Commercial Off-The-Shelf), Legacy and Reuse components in a safety context. It will examine the issues arising from reuse (and re-purposing) of software, hardware and data in various sectors and application contexts, and will consider how assurance arguments can be constructed and what evidence is required to support the arguments. 

* COTS in this context includes SOUP (Software of Unknown Pedigree/Provenance) and other forms of Off-The-Shelf software

This seminar will be held at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel London - Victoria, 2 Bridge Pl, Pimlico, London SW1V 1QA.
